Hifz Revision Classes Online: Keep Your Quran Strong

Finishing Hifz is a milestone, not the end. Without regular revision, pages slip, and many huffaz find that school, university or work squeezes out the daily Manzil. Our one-on-one Hifz revision classes give you a teacher who listens, marks weak pages and keeps you on a plan.

Our hifz program is not only for students memorizing new pages. Many of the students who join are huffaz, or students who memorized several Juz years ago, who want to keep what they have. They don’t need a new lesson every day; they need someone to recite to.

Revision classes are live and one-on-one on Zoom, like all our online Quran classes. The teacher listens to your recitation from memory, corrects mistakes and hesitations, and keeps a record of which pages are strong and which need more time.

Who revision classes are for

  • Huffaz who finished Hifz at a madrasa or locally and now study or work full time.
  • Students who memorized part of the Quran, for example five or ten Juz, and want to keep it before adding more.
  • Teenagers in exam years who want to pause new lessons but not lose their Hifz.
  • Adults returning to the Quran after a gap, who need to rebuild weak Juz page by page.
  • Huffaz preparing to lead Taraweeh who want a listener before Ramadan.

How a revision class works

A typical 30-minute class is mostly recitation from memory, with the teacher following in the Mushaf:

PartWhat happens
Warm-upA short passage recited to settle the voice and check Tajweed.
ManzilThe day’s revision portion recited from memory, with the teacher stopping at mistakes and hesitations.
Weak pagesPages marked weak in earlier classes are recited again until they are steady.
PlanThe teacher notes what was strong, what was weak, and sets the portion for the next class.

The portion is set for each student. A hafiz with a busy week may revise less per class, and more when time allows.

Because the class is one-on-one, the teacher hears every word. A listener is the one thing self-revision cannot give you: it is easy to skip a line or miss a mistake when nobody is following along.

Building a revision plan that fits your week

The right plan depends on how much you have memorized and how much time you have. Your teacher builds it with you after the trial, but the principles are simple:

  • Little and often beats a long session once a week.
  • Rotate through everything: every Juz you know should come up on a regular cycle.
  • Give weak pages extra turns until they are as strong as the rest.
  • Recite in Salah: using memorized passages in your own prayers is revision too.

We teach 24/7, 7 days a week, and you choose your days, so a class can sit before school, at lunch or late at night. If you also want to keep adding new pages, read our part-time Hifz program guide.

When a Juz has become weak

Almost every hafiz has a Juz that slipped. It is not a reason for shame, and it can be rebuilt. The teacher starts by listening to where you are, then rebuilds the weak Juz a page or half-page at a time, reading from the Mushaf first and then reciting from memory, while the rest of your Hifz stays in rotation.

If you are rebuilding a lot, the class may look more like the daily Sabaq, Sabqi and Manzil routine of our Hifz program online for a while. That is normal, and it changes back once the pages are steady.

Preparing for Taraweeh and Ramadan

Many huffaz increase revision in the months before Ramadan so they can lead or follow Taraweeh confidently. Revision classes can move to a schedule that covers more pages per week as Ramadan approaches; ask our team about the fee for extra days or longer classes. Our Ramadan Quran classes page has more on learning during the month itself.

FAQ

Hifz revision classes online: FAQ

Do you offer revision-only classes for huffaz?

Yes. Students who have memorized all or part of the Quran can take one-on-one classes focused only on revision, without new lessons.

How much should I revise each day?

It depends on how much you have memorized and how much time you have. Your teacher sets a portion that keeps every Juz in rotation and gives weak pages extra time.

Can you help me rebuild a Juz I have forgotten?

Yes. The teacher rebuilds a weak Juz in small portions while the rest of your Hifz stays in revision.

Is revision cheaper than a full Hifz program?

It costs the same as every course: $45 a month, $40 a month billed $240 every 6 months, or $35 a month billed $420 a year, for Monday–Friday classes. Other schedules are priced by our team.

Can I revise with a female teacher?

Yes. Choose a male or female teacher on the trial form; both cost the same.
