Online Quran Classes is an online academy that offers live, one-on-one Quran classes for kids and adults. This website is onlinequranclasses.net. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” it means Online Quran Classes.

What data we collect

We mainly collect information you choose to send us when you book a free trial, contact us, or become a student.

Free trial and registration form. The form may ask for:

Student name and age (when the student is a child)
Course interest, current level, and number of students
Teacher preference (male, female, or no preference)
Preferred days and time of day for classes
Any message you add, and your consent to be contacted about the trial

Contact form. Name, email, optional phone, and your message.

During classes and enrollment. If you continue after a trial, we may keep scheduling notes, progress notes for teaching, and payment or billing details needed to run your plan. We do not ask for a card for the free trial.

Technical data. Like most websites, our host (Cloudflare) may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use this to build marketing profiles of you.

Match you with a suitable teacher and time
Teach students and share progress with parents or adult students
Answer questions and support your family

How we use and share your information

We use your information only for the purposes above. We share it only as needed to deliver the service:

Teachers and operations staff who schedule classes, teach, or support your account
Service providers that help us run the site or communications (for example, email delivery, hosting, or video class tools such as Zoom), under their own terms and only as needed for that task
Legal requirements if the law requires us to disclose information, or to protect safety and rights

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers for their marketing.

Children’s privacy (including under 13)

We teach many children, and parents or guardians are involved from the first contact. Our free-trial and contact forms are meant for adults (parents or guardians) booking on behalf of a child, or for adult students booking for themselves.

If a student is under 13, we rely on a parent or guardian to provide the child’s details (such as first name and age) and to consent to the class and to contact about the trial. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without that parental involvement. Parents may review, correct, or ask us to delete a child’s information by contacting us at the email or phone above.

This approach is meant to respect COPPA-style expectations for parental consent when serving young students online.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or marketing analytics trackers on this site. The site may use essential cookies or similar technology needed for basic functions (for example, security or form protection). Our hosting provider may process technical request data as described above. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

How long we keep data

We keep trial and contact enquiries for as long as needed to follow up and to run our service. If you become a student, we keep enrollment and teaching records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for teaching history, support, and legal or accounting needs. You can ask us to delete or update your information; we will honor requests where we are not required to keep records.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please use a strong unique password on your email and avoid sending sensitive payment details in open chat when a secure billing link is available.

Your choices and requests
