Why children learn the Quran faster one-on-one
Young children learn best in short, focused bursts. In a busy weekend class, a child may read for only a few minutes while the teacher listens to everyone else. In our online Quran classes for kids, your child reads for most of the lesson, and the teacher corrects each letter the moment it is said.
Lessons are 30 minutes, five days a week. A little every day builds reading far more reliably than one long class at the weekend, and 30 minutes is short enough to hold a young child's attention without tears.
The teacher adapts the pace to your child: slowing down when a rule is tricky, moving on when it clicks, and keeping things encouraging. Lessons are explained in English, so it does not matter if you do not read Arabic yourself.
The learning path, from first letters to Hifz
- Noorani Qaida (most children start at 4 or 5): Arabic letters, their sounds, joining and short vowels, step by step. Noorani Qaida for kids
- Quran reading: Reading the Mushaf fluently and correctly, page by page. Quran reading classes
- Tajweed: The rules of recitation, so your child recites beautifully and accurately. Tajweed classes online
- Memorization (Hifz): From the short surahs of Juz Amma to a full Hifz program, with daily revision. Hifz program online
- Salah, duas and Islamic basics: Included in every plan: Namaz training, duas and kalimas, and basic Islamic knowledge. Namaz classes for kids

Helping your child at home: five simple habits
- Keep the same class time every day, so Quran becomes part of the routine, like brushing teeth.
- Set up a quiet corner with a tablet or laptop and headphones. A larger screen than a phone makes the letters easier to see.
- Have the Qaida or Mushaf open before the class starts, so no lesson time is lost.
- Listen to your child read the day's lesson for five minutes in the evening, even if you are still learning yourself.
- Praise effort, not speed. Children who enjoy their lessons keep going for years.
