Al Quran Classes Online: Live One-on-One Lessons for Every Level

Many families search for “Al Quran classes” when they want one thing: a real teacher who helps them read, understand and memorize the Book of Allah. This guide explains what our Al Quran classes online cover, how a live one-on-one lesson runs, and how to choose where to start.

By Online Quran Classes Team · Published · 5 min read

“Al Quran” simply means “the Quran” (القرآن), so Al Quran classes are Quran classes in the full sense: from the first letters to fluent recitation, Tajweed, memorization and meaning. All our online Quran classes are taught live, one teacher with one student, never in a group.

Below you will find the courses, a simple way to pick a level, what a typical week looks like, the fees and how the free trial works.

What Al Quran classes cover

A complete course of Quran study usually moves through these stages. Students join at whatever stage they are at:

StageWhat the student learnsOur course
Letters and joiningArabic letters, vowels and joining words correctlyNoorani Qaida
Reading the MushafReading the Quran smoothly from the pageQuran reading classes
TajweedCorrect pronunciation and the rules of recitationOnline Tajweed classes
MemorizationMemorizing surahs, Juz Amma or the whole QuranHifz program
MeaningTranslation and explanation in EnglishQuran translation classes
Beyond the QuranHadith, duas, Salah and Quranic ArabicHadith course and Arabic language course

The teacher checks the level in the free trial and suggests the right starting point.

For a step-by-step view of how students move from one stage to the next, see our online Quran classes course path.

Why live one-on-one Al Quran classes work

Reading the Quran is a skill you learn by being heard and corrected. In a one-on-one class:

  • The teacher listens to every word and corrects mistakes as they happen, before they become habits.
  • The pace is the student’s own. A quick learner moves on; a student who needs more time gets it without feeling rushed.
  • Nobody waits for a turn. The whole class is reading and practice, not listening to others.
  • Shy students relax. Children and adults who would never read aloud in a group often open up with one teacher.

Who joins our Al Quran classes

Lessons are explained in English, and every student has their own one-on-one class, even when several family members learn.

What a typical week looks like

Our listed plans are 20 one-on-one classes a month, Monday–Friday, 30 minutes each. A normal week might be:

  • Monday to Thursday: new lesson, reading or memorization, with correction.
  • Friday: revision of the week, so what was learned stays strong.
  • Between classes: a few minutes of daily practice that the teacher sets.

We teach 24/7, 7 days a week, and you choose your own days and time. Weekends only, three days a week or other schedules are possible; message our team and we’ll quote the fee. Students in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia book at their local time; see class times by time zone.

How to choose good Al Quran classes

Whichever academy you pick, look for these points:

  1. Live classes with a real teacher, not only recorded videos.
  2. One-on-one lessons, so the teacher hears every word.
  3. A free trial, so you can judge the teacher before paying.
  4. Clear monthly fees with no hidden charges.
  5. A choice of male or female teacher, and times that fit your family.
